The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. There are more than 900,000 IB students in over 140 countries.
The Pulitzer Center promotes in-depth engagement with global affairs through its sponsorship of quality international journalism across all media platforms and an innovative program of outreach and education. The center's educational program engages the next generation on international issues and inspires them to become informed consumers and active producers of news and information.
The Global Issues Network's (GIN) mission is to help students realize they can make a difference by empowering them to work internationally with their peers to develop solutions for global issues. Its objective is to form satellite networks of schools around the world made of actively involved students/global citizens.
The Institute for Education's (IFE) mission is to recognize, encourage, and promote civility and leadership locally, nationally, and in the world community. IFE also encourages youth global citizenship with programs that foster intercultural understanding. The IFE internship program actively supports journalists in the Student News Action Network by providing access to key policymakers and opinion leaders in Washington, DC.
PBS NewsHour Extra Student Reporting Labs is an experiment that connects high school students to local PBS stations and news professionals in their community. Student News Action Network journalists create rich video shorts with guidance and resources provided by PBS NewsHour Extra.

TakingITGlobal (TIG) enables a collaborative learning community which provides youth with access to global opportunities, cross-cultural connections and meaningful participation in decision-making. The Student News Action Network website was developed by TIG, and its members are active contributors to the site.
